Born Akinloye Charles Temidayo, Lovn (alias Soundbender) is a singer, songwriter and artistic. Though he doubles as a dressmaker as effectively, Lovn is primarily a fusion musician whose roots are grounded in fuji and apala influences. He cites Fela Kuti, Michael Jackson, King Sunny Ade, Wande Coal, Don Jazzy and lots of extra as his inspirations, their imprints mirrored in his wealthy, textured sound. His pursuits are diversified and layered, starting from martial arts to basketball.
Lovn began making music in his teenagers, creating freestyles and recordings in his spare time. He participated in and received a number of native music competitions, rising his visibility and opening himself as much as a bunch of alternatives–certainly one of which led to him turning into a royal ambassador. By cultivating an enticing on-line presence, Lovn has amassed a small however lively group. When he’s not making music, Lovn runs a trend label referred to as Loven Tribe, incorporating his love for design and visible storytelling into his inventive work. After years of constantly working in the direction of a profession in music and constructing a rising fanbase in Lagos, Lovn was formally signed to Mavin Data in 2025.
