When Shy FX dropped this scorching monitor to open his 2025 carnival set, crowds knew instantly one thing particular had arrived. We Run The Scene marks the triumphant return of Mr. Williamz, one in all dancehall’s most commanding and influential MCs, and sees him be a part of forces with the ever-reliable Reggae Roast to ship magic that hits arduous from the very first bar.

Launched on the Proof Music label, the monitor is a merging of traditional 90s dancehall vibes and a manufacturing fashion that feels recent, bodily and constructed for giant audio system.

One of many UK’s most important reggae voices, Mr. Williamz broke by in 2008 with Babylon In Helicopter, topping US reggae charts and successful BBC UK Artist of the Yr.

Since then, he has moved fearlessly throughout roots, dancehall and bass-heavy hybrids, collaborating with Damian Marley, Chronixx and Shy FX. His Rudeboy Design Soundtape gained BBC 6 Music Album of the Yr.

Since 2007, Reggae Roast have grown into the UK’s main sound system crew. They’ve hosted legends together with Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, David Rodigan and Sly & Robbie at their celebrated London nights. 

In 2020, they signed to Trojan Information, hitting primary on the iTunes Reggae Chart with their debut album. Their custom-built 52 kW sound system The Beast does the remaining.
