4 individuals have been killed and 7 have been injured in a confrontation involving individuals on a ship registered in Florida and Cuban Border Guard Troops on Wednesday, the Cuban authorities mentioned.
The Ministry of the Inside of the Republic of Cuba mentioned the boat registered in Florida approached to inside a nautical mile of the El Pino channel, in Cayo Falcones, municipality of Corralillo, Villa Clara province.

In a press release, Gimenez later referred to as for an investigation into the incident.
