Maya C. Popa joins Kevin Younger to learn “Artless,” by Brenda Shaughnessy, and her personal poem “The World Was All Earlier than Them.” Popa is the creator of “Wound Is the Origin of Marvel” and “American Religion,” the latter of which received the North American E book Award. Her third assortment, “If You Love That Woman,” can be printed by W. W. Norton this July. Popa serves because the poetry editor of Publishers Weekly, and teaches within the undergraduate and M.F.A. packages at New York College.
