A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed at a park in Queens because the solar went down on an unseasonably heat spring day, police stated.
The teenager was shot simply after 6 p.m. at Roy Wilkins Park close to the intersection of Baisley Boulevard and Merrick Boulevard within the St. Albans neighborhood, in accordance with police.
He was shot twice within the chest and rushed to Jamaica Hospital, the place he died from his accidents, police stated.
New York State Lawyer Normal Letitia James shared her condolences on social media platform X after the capturing, saying “My coronary heart is heavy tonight after we misplaced a 15-year-old to a mindless act of gun violence.”
No arrests have been made and a police investigation is ongoing.
