Navy Capt. Tim Hawkins, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command, stated the assaults have been “self-defense strikes” and included “missile launch websites and Iranian boats making an attempt to emplace mines.”
The strikes have been in Bandar Abbas, in southern Iran, close to the Strait of Hormuz, a protection official stated.
