Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt made headlines ahead of Monday night’s game, stating that the Washington Commanders run a “college offense.” The comments didn’t age well, as rookie Jayden Daniels and the Commanders hung 38 points on the Bengals in a 38-33 road victory.
This marked the second straight game in which the Washington offense hasn’t had a turnover or punted a single time, something Bengals head coach Zac Taylor was quick to note while calling out Taylor-Britt’s comments.
“That’s not what we do, that’s not what we do…we praise our own team, praise the other team,” Taylor said. “We don’t need to take shots like that. That team hasn’t punted in two weeks; they’ve scored on every single possession in the last two weeks.”
