Calder was chosen by the Blackhawks within the fifth spherical (No. 130) of the 1997 NHL Draft and performed in 590 profession video games, together with 18 Stanley Cup playoff video games, with the Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers, Detroit Pink Wings, Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Geese.
