Subway service on the A, B, C, and D traces in Higher Manhattan got here to a screeching halt Monday after weekend observe work uncovered cracks beneath the trackbed, in accordance with the MTA.
Emergency repairs are underway at 81st Road and Central Park West. The issue was found there over the weekend throughout deliberate observe work.
As of early Monday afternoon, there is no downtown native service from 125 St to 59 St-Columbus Circle. Downtown B and C service are working specific, skipping all native stops within the downtown path.
The MTA says there will not be any B trains within the Bronx or Higher Manhattan via at the very least the day Monday.
