For over fifteen years, Dubmones have helped form the European reggae, rocksteady, and ska scene from backstage rooms to main pageant levels. Forward of an April 2027 UK tour, the collective has launched Rocksteady, Don’t Cease, an inspiring music documentary from Electrical Avenue Movies.
Directed by Nadine Hemming, with stunning cinematography co-shot alongside Gabor Baumgarten, the movie captures the true spirit of life for the performing artists. It chronicles the mission’s hustle by way of crowded golf equipment and nightliners, the place limitless exhibits turned backing musicians into lifelong mates.
After a decade-long hiatus pursuing studio careers, the mission reunited in 2025 to revisit their roots in dub and punk. What started as informal jam periods shortly sparked contemporary recordings and a triumphant return to stay levels.

Legendary UK reggae MC and drummer Horseman (Winston Francis) shares the display screen with The Skints’ Josh Waters Rutter and Shniece, bringing a shared artistic spark to life.
“Our little movie tells a narrative about friendship and the ability of music,” the band explains. “It highlights the magic of rediscovering a shared ardour.”
THE MAGIC OF REDISCOVERING A SHARED PASSION
The documentary arrives alongside their studio launch Dubmones Remixed on Echo Seaside. The album delivers re-imagined Ramones tracks reworked by dub masters Paolo Baldini, Gaudi, Dreadzone, and Greter Than Dub.
With a six-track launch dropping in spring 2027, this intimate movie will make you crave the bass-heavy power of their upcoming European exhibits.
Catch the vibe early and witness a legendary collective reignited.
