San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy suffered an injury during his team’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed on Monday that Purdy is dealing with soreness in his throwing shoulder. Shanahan said Purdy is considered day-to-day heading into San Francisco’s Week 12 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Purdy went 21-for-28 for 159 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Sunday’s 20-17 loss to the Seahawks. It is unclear at what point in the game he suffered the right shoulder injury. There were no obvious signs that Purdy was in pain.
The 49ers fell to 5-5 with the loss to Seattle, so they have some work to do if they want to get back to the postseason. Purdy has thrown for 2,613 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions through 10 games.
