The Denver Broncos (7-5) are red-hot with rookie quarterback Bo Nix under center this season.
Currently sitting as the seven-seed in the AFC playoff picture, Nix has led the team to four victories in its last six games.
In doing so, he’s attracted significant attention to his campaign for Offensive Rookie of the Year, a race led most of this season by Washington Commanders passer Jayden Daniels.
Despite Daniels’ obvious talents, Washington is in a tailspin, losing three straight and ceding critical ground to the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles.
One critical stat (h/t CBS Sports) shines a new light on the OROY race and gives Nix his well-deserved flowers.
