Sources told FOX 5 NY that Mayor Adams’ former advisor Ingrid Lewis-Martin will be arraigned tomorrow. It is not clear what the charges will be, but the New York Times has been reporting prosecutors are looking into accusations of bribery and money laundering.
NEW YORK – Sources tell FOX 5 NY that Mayor Eric Adams’ former advisor, Ingrid Lewis-Martin will be arraigned on Thursday.
It is not clear what the charges will be, however the New York Times has reported that prosecutors are looking into accusations of bribery and money laundering.
Lewis-Martin has been under investigation since at least September, when her cell phone was seized.
Lewis-Martin resigns, faces potential indictment
NYC Mayor Eric Adams’ longtime aide and chief advisor, Ingrid Lewis-Martin spoke out alongside her attorney after announcing her resignation. FOX 5 NY’s Morgan McKay said they are prepared for an indictment to be unsealed this week.
Lewis-Martin has maintained her innocence, but resigned from her position on Sunday as news of the potential indictment broke.
