After losing Tank Dell for the season due to a dislocated knee, torn ACL and more, the Houston Texans added a receiver on Tuesday through the waiver wire.
Houston claimed Diontae Johnson, who was just released by the Ravens. Johnson was traded from the Panthers to the Ravens before the trade deadline, but collected just one catch for six yards in four games with Baltimore.
Johnson was suspended for one game by the Ravens for refusing to go into the teams Week 13 matchup against the Eagles. Johnson served his suspension in Baltimore’s Week 15 game against the Giants and was then released by Baltimore on Friday.
