It wasn’t always pretty, but the Kansas City Chiefs once again secured the top seed in the AFC playoffs. For the second straight season, the Chiefs were carried more by their defense than their offense. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes tied his lowest passing touchdown total since taking over as the full time starter (26) and tight end Travis Kelce posted his lowest touchdown (three) and yardage total (823) since playing just a single game in his rookie season. But as the Chiefs prepare to take on the Houston Texans in the divisional round, Mahomes only had compliments for his long-time target.
“He has the heart of a champion, and I think that inspires everybody,” he said.
“When your leaders and your Hall of Fame guys are doing that, I think everybody knows that they gotta put it all out on the line.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Kelce had a down 2023 regular season as well, but followed it up with major production in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl run, so don’t be surprised if he does it again. With that being said, can you name the players with the most playoff touchdowns since 2000?
Good luck!
