A part of her final album launched on January 19, 2024, Commando displays Shay slogan and spirit of “Jolie Garce” (Good trying Bitch). On this music, Shay reaffirms girls’s energy and presents the image of a robust and combative girl.
Born in Bruxelles, Belgium in 1996, Shay is of Congolese origin (from her mom). Pourvu qu’il pleuve is her third album, an album wherein she appears to wish to affirm her type and her imaginative and prescient of girls’s energy. In Commando, Shay seems as an actual fighter.
In her black and white video clip she portrays herself as an exquisite and harmful girl carrying a gun, nearly showing as a undercover agent. The clip opens up with a driving Rolls Royce.
