Orange home hearth kills 2 sisters on Thanksgiving – NBC New York

Two sisters died attempting to save lots of their dad from a burning New Jersey house on Thanksgiving, in keeping with native authorities.

The hearth was first reported on the house on Mosswood Avenue in Orange round 5 p.m., the Essex County Prosecutor’s Workplace stated.

Two sisters, Frantzia and Pojanee Fleury, didn’t survive. The 49-year-old and 42-year-old sisters had been “apparently attempting to help their disabled father out of the house,” a spokesperson from the prosecutor’s workplace stated.

Their father and 6 others managed to flee the fireplace with out harm.

Officers are nonetheless investigating the reason for the fireplace.
