Unsurprisingly, New York Jets wide receiver Mike Williams doesn’t seem willing to stand up to quarterback Aaron Rodgers.  After Monday’s 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Rodgers seemingly scapegoated Williams when he said he ran the wrong route on a game-sealing interception. However, it looked like Rodgers underthrew the ball on the play. On Friday, Williams told ESPN’s Rich Cimini that he and Rodgers had a meeting following Monday’s loss, and he wasn’t upset the quarterback called him out. “I just have to be on the red line,” Williams said, smiling. This comment probably refers to how Rodgers claimed Williams faded…

Once a vulnerability, Democrats have turned questions of age and competence into a line of attack against Donald Trump.Barack Obama questioned Donald Trump’s stamina for high office, as he campaigned on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris in the swing state of Arizona. At a Friday rally in the city of Tucson, Obama needled Trump on his ability to serve a second term, a theme Harris and campaign surrogates have recently leaned into. “Along with his intentions, there is also a question of his competence. Have you seen him lately?” asked Obama. “I mean, he is out there, he’s…

The New York Liberty are a win away from their first-ever WNBA title. It may sound surprising, but it’s the reality the franchise has dealt with, coming out winless from five trips to the ultimate stage. But the Liberty have bounced back in 2024 and just need one more win over the Minnesota Lynx following Sabrina Ionescu’s jaw-dropping, near-logo game winner to steal…

By Sir Keir Starmer I’ve just had a very productive meeting with president Biden, Chancellor Scholz, and president Macron. We focused on two issues. Firstly, the situation in the Middle East. Let me start by saying that no one should mourn the death of the Hamas Leader Sinwar. On his hands is the blood of innocent Israelis, killed on October 7 and over years of terror. And also the blood of the Palestinian people, who suffered in the chaos and violence that he sought and celebrated. We continue to support Israel’s right to self-defence. Particularly in the face of the attacks…

Myanmar – Scattered across the lush, rolling hills of southern Myanmar’s Tanintharyi region, rebel fighters stationed at checkpoints inspect cars and trucks traveling towards a nearby town still under the control of the Myanmar military – their adversary. While this is a familiar sight in the region, where the struggle against the military waged by disparate armed groups has intensified since the 2021 coup, what sets these rebels apart is their faith. These are members of the little-known “Muslim Company”, who have joined the struggle for democracy in Myanmar as part of a Christian- and Buddhist-dominated armed group – the…

Winning a baseball game in the playoffs is extremely difficult. Just ask the other 26 teams in Major League Baseball that are home watching the last four left standing.  But winning a baseball game in the playoffs without your all-star first baseman, starting second baseman, and shortstop, against the hottest pitcher in the postseason is even more difficult.  Mission Impossible? Not for the arm-flailing, sunflower seed throwing, home run hitting Los Angeles Dodgers. Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts both homered in Game 4, and the Dodgers defeated the New York Mets in blowout fashion, 10-2, on Thursday night at Citi…
