Bravo Le Roux Opens Up About Suffering From Imposter Syndrome. Bravo Le Roux has made waves in the local music scene with his distinct sound and powerful lyrics, but behind the scenes, the rising star has been grappling with a struggle that many of his fans might not expect: imposter syndrome.
Taking to Instagram, The rapper said that he got emotional after his performance over the weekend as he reflected on the suffering from imposter syndrome.
“At the end of my performance, I got emotional last night. For the past month I have been suffering from imposter syndrome & wasn’t motivated nor inspired to do anything,” he wrote. “Wasn’t picking up calls or getting back to nobody, not writing, not recording, not even attempting to create. Nothing. I was doubting my dope.”
In a separate post, Bravo Le Roux opened up about his challenging musical journey, sharing how difficult it was for him to perform on big stages. He recalled how, in those early days, every opportunity to perform—no matter how brief—felt like a precious moment to showcase his talent.
Despite performing for free at many shows before fame, he made sure to pour his heart into those few minutes, knowing that each performance was a step closer to his dreams. “I also remembered how we used to ask to perform for free at this stage. We had to sit next to the stage for hours until one artist doesn’t show up or shows up late & we steal that 3 minutes to perform a song. What a journey.”
