Council Clears Queens for New Housing and Offers Bronx Armory One other Go

Queens is slated for a housing increase, with tens of hundreds of recent flats on deck in two rising neighborhoods.

The Metropolis Council on Wednesday accredited a rezoning for Jamaica and a key Council committee greenlit a modified plan for Lengthy Island Metropolis.

Plus, the complete Council gave the thumbs-up to a redevelopment plan for the long-vacant Kingsbridge Armory in The Bronx, which would come with an adjoining 500 reasonably priced flats.
