DJ Speedsta: “I’m trying to put Nasty C & A-Reece On One Song.” In the ever-unpredictable world of rap, what might seem inevitable is often anything but—until it happens. A collaboration between Nasty C and A-Reece is one of those highly anticipated moments that South African Hip-hop fans have long dreamed of. While it once seemed like a distant possibility, the chances of it happening now are still a coin toss.
The two renowned rappers have been locked in a feud that’s fueled intense debates among their fans. Yet, there’s still a part of the rap community that longs to see Nasty C and A-Reece join forces, and DJ Speedsta is among those hoping to witness that collaboration in their lifetime.
Speaking during an interview in Botswana on Juice 2.0 Podcast, Speedsta said that he is trying to navigate how he can get the two famed rappers on a song together. “To tell you the real truth, I was trying really really hard and I’m still trying. I wanted to put Reece and Nasty on one song on my album. I’m still trying I just need to find an angle as to how,” DJ Speedsta said.
The “Mayo” hitmaker mentioned that one challenge in sparking a collaboration between Nasty C and A-Reece is his lack of a strong connection with A-Reece. He believes he’ll need to find a way to bridge that gap first.
“To tell you the real truth, I dont have a relationship with Reece, so I need to figure out a way to get to him. I know Reece, we respect each other, we are in the same industry, see each other at gigs. But I’ve never like sat down and had a conversation with Reece,” he added.
