Ex-New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady have a history of casually trolling each other online, especially since both retired from the NFL.
Over the weekend, both took their light-hearted bantering to a whole new league — literally.
Brady is a minority owner of English League One side Birmingham City, which is set to face off with overnight sensation Wrexham AFC — notably co-owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney who bought the team in 2020.
Ahead of the highly anticipated clash, McElhenny employed the help of Brady’s nemesis, Manning, to expertly troll him and his team. The two-time Super Bowl MVP, over Brady no less, took to X on Friday to formally endorse Wrexham in Monday’s match – and take a poke at his two big wins over the ex-Patriots passer.
