Chelsea’s head coach, Enzo Maresca has given an update on Reece James who picked up an injury during the international break.
The Portuguese international was speaking in a post-match press conference after the game against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, November 23, 2024. According to him, Reece James will have to undergo surgery before the extent of his injury can be determined.
He said,
“We wait for Reece James to have a scan, we have still no updates”.
Maresca also explained why Malo Gusto, Colwill and Pedro Neto
“Malo Gusto was with us but during the night he didn’t feel well. Colwill was also ill. Pedro Neto had a problem with the international team and we didn’t want to take any risks”.
Chelsea supporters hope that Maresca can manage to get victories for the team despite the injury to James.
