EIGHTY-FOUR years after publishers there rejected it for confronting the established order, a guide by Trinidad and Tobago’s first prime minister Dr Eric Williams, difficult Britain’s narrative that humanitarianism fuelled its Slavery Abolition Act, was printed by the UK’s Penguin Fashionable Classics.
