Linebacker Jeremiah Alexander came to Alabama with a ton of potential.
He was considered a five-star recruit, ranked as the No. 1 EDGE in the 2022 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He was also the No. 18 recruit overall nationally.
From Alabaster, Alabama, Alexander signed with the Tide over UCF, Georgia and Clemson.
Dabo Swinney lost out on that round with Alexander but when he got back on the board by entering the transfer portal after his redshirt freshman season in Tuscaloosa, it’s now being reported that Clemson has picked up the big transfer portal win.
Ole Miss, Auburn and Oklahoma were also in the running for Alexander’s transfer.
