The New York Giants ended their 2024-25 season in worse shape than they did in 2023. At 3-14, the Giants recorded their worst finish since 2017 (3-13) and logged only three wins or less for just the 11th time in franchise history.
Despite that, co-owner John Mara announced in a post on X on Monday he will retain head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen for another season.
The duo had immediate success in their first year at the helm in 2022, leading the team to its first playoff victory since Super Bowl XLVI. However, since then its been two straight years selecting in the top six of the NFL Draft.
Schoen spoke to members of the media in a post-season news conference, chalking the season up to “not good enough.”
