Hundreds collect to mark one week since Bondi Seashore assault – Nationwide

Hundreds gathered Sunday at Bondi Seashore in Sydney, Australia, to mark one week since two gun males focused a Jewish competition, killing 15.

Greater than 10,000 had been in attendance, together with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

The nation declared it a nationwide day of reflection, as photos of the victims had been projected and moments of silence had been noticed.

On Dec. 14, two gunmen attacked a Jewish Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Seashore.

The mass capturing left 15 useless, together with a Holocaust survivor, a 10-year-old lady and a rabbi. At the least 42 others had been injured.

Australia to tighten gun, hate speech legal guidelines after Bondi Seashore Hanukkah assault


Within the days following the assault,  The Australian authorities has proposed stricter gun legal guidelines and vowed to crack down on hate speech. 

In the meantime, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized Albanese, linking requires a Palestinian state to rising antisemitism.
