An 85-year-old girl died when a fireplace tore via a Queens house, officers mentioned Tuesday.
The blaze broke out within the single-family residence on twenty sixth Ave. close to 124th St. in School Level on Monday round 5:15 a.m.
Responding firefighters discovered the sufferer unconscious in a first-floor bed room.
EMS rushed her to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens, the place she died of her accidents. Her title was not instantly launched as officers first try and notify members of the family.
Two firefighters suffered minor accidents combating the blaze, which was put out inside an hour.
