CeeDee Lamb told Kay Adams on Tuesday’s episode of the “Up and Adams” podcast that he wouldn’t have played in Week 1 win against the Cleveland Browns if he hadn’t signed a contract extension yet.
After weeks, if not months of negotiation, plus a training-camp holdout, the Dallas Cowboys and their star wide receiver agreed to a four-year, $136M deal in late August.
Lamb became one of the last stud wideouts to ink a long-term extension this offseason, ahead of San Francisco 49ers standout Brandon Aiyuk. Lamb also discussed Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase on Tuesday, as the LSU product played in Week 1 despite not having a new contract in place.
