“King Size,” a collaboration between K.O and AKA, serves as a powerful homage to both artists’ contributions to South African hip-hop. Released at a time when AKA’s influence is still deeply felt, the single has resonated with fans and family alike. Lynn Forbes shared an emotional tribute to her late son, emphasizing the mixed feelings after witnessing a heartwarming tribute music video for “King Size.”
“So I was crying because K.O has just shown us his video for “King Size.” What an amazing, and also very emotional moment because he did everything there. I mean he had a taste of Run Jozi in there, he has the Nelson Mandela bridge, he has the taxi and K.O with the push-ups like they did on Run Jozi and the flag is everywhere, and the moment where the two of them recorded which was really the Tuesday before Kiernan died. So what an emotional moment, I think and he really put a lot of thought into it, such a great tribute. Not just to Kiernan but to both of them and their friendship. So as a family, we are happy, I’m so touched and I think well done here.” Lynn Forbes said in an interview with Daily Sun.
The music video is yet to be released on streaming platforms, where fans can experience the greatness of these two iconic South African rap stars.
