What makes that even more impressive is Nabers did it with a myriad of different quarterbacks.

He started the season with Daniel Jones, who was waived and signed with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday, then third-stringer Tommy DeVito in Week 12 and now backup Drew Lock on Thursday.

The record-setting performance comes just a week after he publicly criticized head coach Brian Daboll for not targeting him enough in a 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The two appear to have patched things up, and a healthy dose of targets went his way early (eight to be exact).

The Giants have not won a game against Dallas since 2021 and have lost 14 of the last 15 meetings.

New York (2-9) is playing for Daboll’s job, it seems, with locker room frustrations appearing to hit a fever pitch in the wake of Nabers’ comments and Jones’ release.

The next question becomes, will the franchise turn things around in time to not repeat a wasteful situation with a talented player such as Nabers?
