Week 7 featured some of the usual suspects regarding dud quarterback performances.
But while we could have expected bad games from the likes of Daniel Jones and Andy Dalton, others were unexpected.
Here are the bottom-five quarterback outings from Sunday’s NFL games.
Giants quarterback Daniel Jones
Sunday was Jones’ moment to prove the Giants front office was right to pay him over running back Saquon Barkley.
During the 2023 offseason, New York signed Jones to a four-year, $160 million extension, which prevented the front office from extending Barkley this offseason.
Instead, the Giants’ sixth-year quarterback showed why the front office committed malpractice with its catastrophic decision.
Jones finished the 28-3 loss to the Eagles 14-of-21 for 99 yards. When accounting for sacks and rush attempts, Jones’ 33 plays netted the Giants 63 yards (1.9 yards per play).
