San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffery is the latest athlete to grace the cover of the annual “Madden” NFL video game after his dominant first full season in The Bay. He put up video game numbers in 2023, surpassing 2,000 total yards from scrimmage for the second time in his career and winning the rushing title over Derrick Henry by 292 yards with 1,459. Most importantly, he’s stayed healthy over the past two years, missing just one regular season game over the past two seasons, after to playing in just 10 games the two seasons before. As the 49ers look to return to the Super Bowl this year, the health and production of McCaffery will be a major factor in how far they go.
