Just hours before kicking off their 2024 season, the Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott agreed to a four-year, $240 million contract extension. Prescott is coming off another statistically brilliant regular season, throwing for 4,516 yards and an NFL-high 36 touchdowns. Despite those numbers, Prescott and the Cowboys were embarrassed at home by the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs last season. Regardless of the numbers Prescott puts up, his legacy as a Cowboy will be determined by whether or not he lifts a Lombardi trophy in Big D.
