Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams has not had the easiest introduction to life in the NFL. Off the field, he’s had to deal with the firing of an offensive coordinator and head coach. On the field, he’s been running for his life unlike many quarterbacks before him. After being sacked twice on ‘Monday Night Football,’ Williams has now been sacked 58 times through 14 games. Monday’s game was the ninth-straight contest the first-overall draft pick took multiple sacks, but was still the fewest Chicago allowed since Week 5.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. At 4-10, the Bears have been looking to next season for weeks now, where a top priority needs to be finding protection for their all-important rookie. With that being said, how many of the NFL quarterbacks who were sacked at least 35 times in their rookie year campaign can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
