Westbound Train’s ‘Sing the Ghost Away’ breathes soul into modern ska. Reggae Tastemaker

Fashioned at Berklee School of Music in 2001, Westbound Practice started by taking part in Boston golf equipment and sharing their love of ska, reggae, and soul. Their horn strains lower via the air, vocals soared and rhythms moved each room they entered. 

From the Vans Warped Tour to Impolite Cat Pageant, the band carried basic Jamaican sounds ahead, mixing affect and expertise right into a feel-good, soulful legacy that also resonates worldwide.
