Strictly Come Dancing will return in 2024 for another season of dancing and scoring, despite being plagued by scandals in the last few months.
The 2024 line up has an increasing number of people declaring the signings “underwhelming” and “disappointing”.
This will also be the first year in the past four that Strictly won’t feature any same-sex couples.

When does Strictly start in 2024?
Strictly will air on September 16, 2024 for its 20th anniversary, running its usual number of 12 weeks.
Some of the returning faces have already started sharing videos and images of the show ramping up, including last year’s winners, Ellie and Vito.
What time is Strictly on?
Strictly will return to screens on BBC One. The exact time has not yet been confirmed but previous years saw it air at 7pm.
Will Ellie and Vito reunite?
Yes, 2023’s winners Ellie and Vito will indeed reunite it seems, as both of the duo have shared videos of themselves rehearsing together.
Who are the Strictly 2024 couples?
The couples have not yet been confirmed but the celebrity contestants have been. They are:

- Sam Quek – Olympic and European Gold medallist, former England and Team GB hockey player and now a TV and Radio Presenter
