Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry suffered an injury during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, and he is expected to miss some time.
Curry appeared to tweak his ankle during the third quarter of Golden State’s 112-104 loss to the Clippers at Chase Center in San Francisco, California. He limped to the bench but later returned to the game. Then early in the fourth quarter, Curry twisted the same ankle while setting a screen and was in obvious pain as he hobbled off again. Curry went to the locker room at that point, and his night was finished.
The Warriors announced on Monday that Curry underwent an MRI, which showed no structural damage. The 36-year-old will miss at least two games and be reevaluated on Friday.
