In a Week 1 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen injured his non-throwing hand. However, he insists it’s not a big deal.
“Just trying to be as normal as possible,” Allen said in a news conference following Tuesday’s practice. “I felt like I threw it well today and was able to do all the things, so, ready to go.”
According to Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com, Allen had his left hand taped after he hurdled over Cardinals safety Budda Baker for a six-yard touchdown.
Per Alec White of the team website, Bills head coach Sean McDermott has passed along that team doctors have medically cleared Allen to play Thursday in a road game against the Miami Dolphins.
It appears the 28-year-old QB is exercising caution, though. Jon Scott of WGRZ-TV in Buffalo shared a clip of Allen wearing a glove during Tuesday’s practice.
