Blxckie Weighs In On A-Reece & Nasty C’s Beef. Like any culture within the hip-hop genre, South African hip-hop has experienced its fair share of beef and disputes that accompany the rap scene. The evolution of rivalry has been evident, particularly with the intense competition between Cassper Nyovest and AKA.
However, with the emergence of the new school in the hip-hop scene, Nasty C and A-Reece have also found themselves caught in the whirlwind of rivalry that often accompanies being a rap artist. The two have exchanged jabs, some direct and others more subtle, but the underlying sentiment remains that A-Reece and Nasty C are indeed in a beef.
Speaking during an interview, Blxckie who has a relationship with Nasty C and A-Reece stated that the beef between the two rappers is based on anything solid even though they take jabs on each other. He added that what intensifies their beef is also the external echoes from the fans who feed on the rappers’ rivalry.
“The Nasty C and A-Reece ones, they also younger than the ones I mentioned before (Cassper and AKA). I feel like they do still take some jabs at each other and stuff like that but like I dont think it’s like it’s based on anything like solid,” he said.
“The way they explain it anytime they speak on it it just you know something petty that turned into whatever is now also just like the fans putting them against each other, you know how hip-hop is,” Blxckie added.
