Central Village, St. Catherine, Jamaica native Ras Emmanuel and Kingston-based Lushy Banton teamed up for this new song and video for “Dancehall Forever” Ras Emmanuel’s love for dancehall grew during the 1980s and 1990s, fueling his journey into music and culminating in the release of his debut album, Loving Enemies, in 2005. Lushy is known for his dynamic performances and innovative blend of dancehall and sing/rap styles. His discography includes socially conscious tracks such as “Coronavirus” and “Black Lives Matter,” reflecting his engagement with current issues.
The ‘Dancehall Forever” track is taken from the “Dancehall Forever” Compilation which was released in February 2024.
