Emtee Explains Why His Collaboration With K.O On ‘Too Much’ Didn’t Materialize

Following the release of the joint, K.O faced allegations of stealing the song from an up-and-coming artist but he came out and addressed how “Too Much” came to life and his decision to feature Nasty C. However, in his remarks, Mr CashTime also clarified that he first approached Emtee before he finally settled to collaborate with Nasty C on the song.

“I recorded that sh*t and I sent it to Emtee, you can ask him to send a screenshot of a conversation between him and my manager.

“Now, the reason why the song only came out this year is because I had so much music that I’ve cooked up that was for my album which was supposed to come out last year. I was like let me send this one to Emtee and it didn’t work out, and this year UMG was ready for Skhanda to put out something and I sent them this record and obviously Nasty is over there, shoutout to his team and he’s on the record and today it’s the 16th of August we’re on the charts. What are we talking about?” K.O said.

In response to K.O.’s comments, Emtee has clarified his side of the story. Emtee asserts that he did not turn down a feature, contradicting K.O.’s implication that the collaboration simply didn’t work out. Emtee expressed his frustration, accusing people in the industry of underestimating him and accusing K.O. of speaking ill of him.

“For the record, I didn’t decline no feature. I got the beat, recorded nobody got back to me. Clearly, they didn’t fuck with the verse so what do they do, talk sideways discrediting me. Can’t people live their lives without making a pose?” Wrote Emtee.
