The Dallas Cowboys have more than enough time to turn their season around and make a postseason push, but one franchise legend does not see it happening.
During Fox’s NFL pregame show on Sunday, Jimmy Johnson said he does not believe the Cowboys will win enough of their remaining games to make the playoffs. Johnson thinks things will get better for his former team, but that it is already “too late” after a 3-4 start to the season.
“I think they turn it around and they get better when their star players get back on the field, but I think it’s too late for them to win enough games to be in the playoffs,” Johnson said. “I don’t see them making the playoffs this year.”
When asked to give Cowboys fans something to be optimistic about, Johnson simply pointed to the fact that the team is getting healthier and admitted that “stranger things have happened.”
