Loki Opens About Challenges Writing His Verse On Upcoming Single “Amaphanta”

This independence allows him to experiment with different sounds and creative approaches, leading to a more authentic and personal expression in his music. The absence of external pressures has enabled Loki to stay true to his artistic vision and continually evolve as an artist on his terms.

Even though he’s enjoying all the perks that come with being an indie artist, Loki has had his fair share of difficulties mostly when it comes to the music-writing process. As he preps for a brand new single release Amaphanta featuring Emtee and Saudi, Loki opened up that he had problems writing his verse on the song.

In a recent post on X, Loki shared that he faced significant challenges while writing his verse due to his intense desire for perfection. “I had problems writing when I wrote this verse ,I didn’t want to ruin this song (which goes to show how down bad I was mentally) …until one of my big homies said “you haven’t told people your story, the hook won’t be enough” …so I laid down my life’s story , good & bad,” wrote Loki.

Amaphanta is gearing up for its release this Friday, and Loki is raising the stakes with a promise of a high-octane rap experience. With Emtee and Saudi, two titans of South African rap, flanking him on either side, Loki’s track is set to be a powerhouse of energy and lyrical prowess.
