Recently released quarterback Daniel Jones has a hot market.

The former New York Giants starter is expected to clear waivers on Monday and should have multiple suitors.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Minnesota Vikings and the Baltimore Ravens are two of the “likeliest teams” to sign the free-agent QB.

However, Baltimore and Minnesota aren’t the only teams reportedly interested in the 2019 No. 6 overall pick.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport listed the San Francisco 49ers and the Las Vegas Raiders as potential landing spots. The Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins could also kick the tires on Jones, via Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz.

Jones, 27, clearly has several options, but expect him to sign with a Super Bowl contender.

On Saturday, Schefter wrote Jones “will likely prefer to finish the season on a playoff contending team, where he will be involved in big games, rather than going to a meandering quarterback-needy team not remotely in playoff contention, according to sources.”

The Vikings and the 49ers may be the best destinations for the Duke product.

The 49ers have an entrenched starting QB in Brock Purdy, but he will miss Sunday’s game against the Packers with a shoulder injury. If it becomes a lingering issue, Jones — who had 70 TD passes and 47 interceptions in six seasons with the Giants — could fill in.

Vikings starting QB Sam Darnold is an unrestricted free agent in 2025. Rookie QB J.J. McCarthy recently underwent a second surgery on his right knee. Minnesota could add Jones in case Darnold doesn’t re-sign and McCarthy isn’t ready for the start of next season.

More importantly, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell are QB whisperers, and either could help Jones salvage his career.
