
One particular person has been discovered lifeless after two glider planes collided mid-air close to Edinburg, in accordance with NBC affiliate WNYT.
New York State Police say it occurred within the space of Wheeler Highway in Edinburg, about an hour’s drive from Lake George.
The wreckage from that aircraft was found in a distant space off of Sand Lake Rd., in accordance with WNYT. The pilot aboard that glider was killed. Nobody else was on board.
A WNYT information crew noticed the opposite aircraft, which had landed safely at Plateau Sky Ranch Airport. The pilot of that glider was unharmed, police stated.
Police haven’t launched the identify of the pilot who was killed.
The Federal Aviation Administration did not instantly reply to a request for remark.
