A woman was mauled and killed by her neighbor’s pigs on Christmas day, the Columbus-Post Dispatch reported.

Rebecca Westergaard, of Pataskala, Ohio, reportedly died after she was attacked by two pigs wandering near her home.

The 75-year-old woman was found on her property, her body partially eaten, and police will provide more information once her full autopsy results are completed in the next couple of weeks, Pataskala Police Chief Bruce Brooks told the news outlet.

Westergaard was planning to leave her home to visit her niece’s home in Norton, Ohio. The niece later contacted police after she didn’t hear from Westergaard, the Columbus-Post Dispatch noted, citing a police incident report.

Citing Brooks, the Columbus-Post Dispatch reported that it is unknown what will happen to the pigs or if the neighbor, who owns the pigs, will face criminal charges.

The neighbor’s identity has not been released by police.
