Meet the dynamic, high-energy, electrifying nine-time Road March Champion of Anguilla Pantha (Lanvol Hughes).
Pantha began his musical journey at 16 in the early ’90s with the Mussington Brothers Band. He went on to sing with several other bands on the island, including Vito Band from 1997 to 1998 and Better Band from 1999 to 2005.
He held the titles of Soca Groovy Champion and Road March Champion for many years, with popular hits such as Raise De Roof, Imagine, Buss It, Make It Rain, Power, and in August 2024, I Ain’t Missing Ittt.
In 2006, Pantha collaborated with the renowned Jam Band International, contributing to one of their most popular songs, Whole Mouth Over De Hole.
In 2007, he formed Pantha Vibes International (PVI), a group that features exceptional talents, including Daddy Jones, Prick, Tafarai, Lekai, Jahmai, Chewawa, and Pantha himself.
Pantha is scheduled to perform at several events in the United Kingdom this December.
