Rihanna made a stunning return to the Crop Over Festival in Barbados for the first time since 2019, donning a custom bedazzled costume designed by Lauren Austin.
The global superstar joined the Grand Kadooment parade on Monday 5 August in St. Michael, where she celebrated the 50th anniversary of one of Barbados’ most cherished festivals.
Rihanna was spotted aboard the Aura Experience truck, surrounded by friends, family, and members of the Barbados military, who were seen providing security. Her outfit featured brown and gold jewels that adorned her body from ankles to shoulders, along with a matching crown and pink, orange, and yellow-feathered wings.
This marks Rihanna’s first appearance at Crop Over since the pandemic and the birth of her two children, making her return a major highlight of the event.
The singer’s participation in the parade was met with excitement as she strutted through the streets in her eye-catching ensemble, once again proving her status as a fashion icon.
