Mangrove Global and Bounty Rum have announced the winners of the UK’s first-ever Bounty Domino Tournament. Following three national heats in Glasgow, Manchester, and London, the final showdown occurred on Wednesday 24 July, at Dalston Rooftop in London.
The event, supported by chef SavJointz, DJ Lightning, and the St. Lucian Association of London (1963), concluded with Holly Raffill and Becky Malik, known as the Scissor Sisters from Incipio Group in London, emerging victorious. Their prize is an exciting trip to Saint Lucia.
Dave Marsland, brand ambassador for St Lucia Distillers, expressed excitement about the tournament, noting the successful blending of Saint Lucia’s love for dominoes with the flavours of Bounty Rum. Marsland looks forward to hosting more events in the future.

Nick Gillett, Managing Director of Mangrove Global, highlighted the evening’s success in spotlighting the traditional game of dominoes, making its nostalgic appeal and connection to Saint Lucian culture. He also shared plans to continue building the UK’s Saint Lucian and Caribbean community, particularly with more Bounty Rum events around the Notting Hill Carnival.
Bounty Rum, distilled in Saint Lucia’s Roseau Valley, will partner with M2K Mas Band and the Saint Lucian Tourism Authority for Notting Hill Carnival 2024, scheduled for Sunday, August 25, to Monday, August 26. The rum, known for its distinctive flavours of spiced vanilla, ripe sultana, and burnt coconut, is distributed in the UK by premium spirits distributor Mangrove Global.
Earlier this year, Bounty Rum also sponsored the Spirit of Saint Lucia cocktail competition in Miami, Chicago, and New York. The final leg of the competition will take place at the San Francisco Rum Festival on Sunday 1 September.
